Only 4% of federal cancer research funding is allocated to pediatric cancer.

Pediatric cancer is a story that needs to be heard and helped. Every child deserves a fighting chance.

About Rise for Reason

This student-led committee was created with one goal in mind: to provide young people the opportunity to advocate for themselves and their peers on a cause that directly affects them.

In working with the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation, our committee's mission is to provide a direct perspective that enhances research priorities and advocates for efforts that advance the NPCF's mission of eliminating childhood cancer through finding less toxic, more targeted treatments.

Our goal is to fill the gap of student advocacy for pediatric cancer research, emphasizing the idea of Kids Helping Kids.
